Half of a famous Hickory Smoked Ham from Pottstown Meat & Deli
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 cup crushed peanuts
(2) 1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup honey
To prepare glaze, toast cumin for 3 minutes in a 300 degree oven. Toast crushed peanuts in the oven for 5 minutes or until brown at 400 degrees. Put orange juice in a bowl, then add in each ingredient in the following order: honey, cumin and peanuts.
Prepare and heat ham in 1/4 cup orange juice for 1.5 - 2 hours or until 135 degrees internal. Remember, our hams are fully cooked already!
Brush glaze over the ham 30 minutes before meat is done. Heat ham for final 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes. Carve and serve.
